Post by fantumfan2003 » Fri May 30, 2008 12:59 pm

I need to have Silicone oil and Moly grease.

Where can I buy these in Mumbai. I am quite certain these have local and street names for these and are there any specific makes ? Also any chance of getting teflon spray ?

PLease let me know.

Thanks

I used to buy silicone oil from Lohar Chawl. You should get the moly and teflon spray there as well.

Born and lived a good many years in Bombay, besides Poona, Delhi and Manipal.

I just asked for silicone oil and it came in an unbranded plastic bottle. I understand it's used in the electronic industry.

I have been wondering about this.. but havent had the time to find out for sure! I guess it must be the greasy stuff they use to lubricate moving electro mechanical devices like in printer head carriage rods etc.
