Only dont use it on synthetic stock firearms.

What when we compare these formula to WD40 / Rustliick / Pidilite zorro and other reputed products . They instantly clean as well as mildly lubricate .

These rust removal sprays have limited use, so long as you know their limitations. If you don't, and you just want a cheap and easily available lube, then avoid these!

In stead use something even cheaper - sewing machine oil/ singer oil. It will serve you much better and at a lower cost. Or you could use the plain old traditional Rangoon oil, which till recently was available at gun shops and was also issued to army units for maintenance. Its much thicker, so better for lubrication and preservation and less useful as a cleaning agent.

However, if you would like to take the time and trouble there are much better products out there, they do cost more though.

Cheers!

For lubrication use that requires oil, rather than grease, I do have an ancient can of Singer oil that I occasionally use.

But for rust removal, lubrication, and rust prevention, when I really need to get the job done, or if it's in a critical application, I use automotive automatic transmission fluid. This is on guns, Post war Lionel electric toy trains, and all other sorts of things, down to putting a little oil on car lug studs and bolts.
