Hi, not oil but I use micro crystalline wax. It takes surface rust off ( if needed )

It’s used by the British to maintain their antique

A good gun maintenance oil should have two properties i.e deep penetration to bust the rust quickly and thin film lubrication. Heigher the KB value and lower the viscocity better the oil. Heigher KB value of oil will give better penetration to oil and rust busting property and low viscosity will give thin film lubrication. Thin film lubrication will give protection and at the same time it will not attract dust to get accumulated on the surface of weapon. You can try these three products ,
LPS1, Trilube Gun Care and CRC 556. You should clean the weapon religiously after every use.
