Leather piston seal lube

What lubricant should i use on a new "leather" piston seal before fitting it on the piston ? Im using an ihp 35 .22 .Thanks

Dip it in any oil for a day.
Soak well then put it on piston.
There will be some smoke initially.

Basu sir..i am from Coochbehar....i bought A daws150 air rifle..but trigger is too hard to pull...plz suggest...what to do.....plz sir
