Crosman 102 "OSS" Variant - .22 cal., 15-shot pump pneumatic

Post by swajan » Thu Jun 30, 2011 9:31 pm

Dear Friends,

WOW !!

At last discovered Model 102 "OSS" Variant - .22 cal., 15-shot pump pneumatic repeater for lead balls, round hole loading port, produced during WWII for the U.S. Office of Special Services.

All of a sudden I came across this. Unfortunately it do not have Valve, Hammer & Breech Block Assembly. I bought the treasure home. Working on it, and wondering how to restore it. Bluing, Polishing etc are not a problem but spares. Hope I will get all your blessings and support.
I hope it is one of the very rare and the first model of Crosman way back in 1942. Some pics are for you.
regards

By the way, I restored the BSA Cadet, and it's now shoot like hell.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Amazing find! I hope you enjoy restoring it as much as you would shooting it!
