TenX, I don't know how to do that, and can find a 'downloads' area. I guess the moderators will take note and do the needful, and others can add points I might have missed. Regards.

hi,

the idea of using a laser to get a rough zero is really very good, i have a nice green laser, so i first tried this method on my .22 lr and wow was i amazed, it was able to to get it hitting dead on target at 50 yards, with the first shot !!!

will try zeroing the a.g next week end.

:)

hi Mack The Knife
i have a bruno2e .22lr rifle, on it i have mounted a bushnell scope with two piece mount. the problem i am facing is that. firstly the groupings are very position oriented, which means a slight twist left or right in the rifle position will give different sets of gruouping. secondly while traveling, inspite of a hard rifle case from Gsmith i always loose my zeroing. u have any idea on what to do about these problems.

i am ready to take advises from anybody. just a feeling that maybe the ammo type could also be the reason. i am using a wildcat .22 and the shots are really inconsistant.

denong, there could be many reasons for this, but to make life easier, pictures of the rifle and scope mount might help. Also is there any play in the rifle (stock, scope base, rings). Also are you sure your scope is repeatable and will hold zero (have you done a box test).

denong What wildcat are you using? That might have a bearing on the discussion.

Haven't seen this for sale in India. I saw a picture of one in a catalog and had it fabricated using the scissor jack as a scale reference. Unfortunately I no longer have the autocad drawing as my hard disk got fried.

Cabelas sells quite a few models and you could order one from them.
