.22 short vs .22 LR

Post by The Doc » Fri Aug 28, 2009 10:15 pm

Gentlemen,

I have read about the muzzle velocity/ballistics of a .22LR bullet and that of a .25 acp bullet, both fired from a pistol having a 2-2.5 inch barrel . The data is comparable.

I want to know about the MV / ballistics of a .22 short bullet as compared to .22lr bullet shot out of a 2-2.5 inch barrel , the target being 10-15 feet away .

thanks,

Rp.

PS. Lets not discuss the "stopping power " here .

If you go to Goldenloki.com you'll have access to an extensive set of actual test firings of .22 32, 380 and 9x18. Don't know if he had .22 Short listed , but at least it's a start
