Hello bros the pulley is installed not other than my yard. It is good and cute looking, functions perfect. It was given to me as a gift from a forum friend. I asked him to supply four more. He was kind enough to make four more for me at a cost of Rs. 5368/- each with deflectors, target carriers and everything except strings.

I think they are patenting it.

It has been in use for six months in the out and there is no problem of any kind encountered.

Thank you Ravindrane for your kind words.Yours was the first piece.I am happy to know that it is working perfectly. An encouraging response made my day.Did you install other units too ? Yes,the Patent is under process.

@RamMani, I am planning one more lot of 10-12 pulleys by month end.It is better to buy a professionally made rather than re inventing the wheel :)

Have you zeroed in on quality strings which would be suitable for use with your pulley?

So far we are using 4 mm dia Clothesline, which is suitable for outdoors. It works fine for the purpose.

Trajeev, you may want to try the nylon type woven string that is used for window blinds. To me it seems to best approximate the type that I used to see in use at the KSSR range back in the 1980's.

It should also weather better than clothes line, those tend to fall apart after a season or two.

Let me know when your next batch is ready, I'm looking at improving the range I've set up for my son. Would like to buy one.

Cheers!
Abhijeet
