ammunition for iof .22 revolver
Hi. What is the best and most potent ammunition for iof .22 revolver for self defence available in the country? I believe high velocity ammunition cannot be fired. Pl guide.

Hi. I am curious to know if it's ok and safe to use eley subsonic hollow rounds for IOF .22 revolver. Any other suggestions please for better effect at the target.

I don't have any experience with the iof .22 revolver but why can we not fire different varities of .22lr ammo in the revolver that is made to fire the said ammo.
If its due to bad quality then I would advice you to sell it and buy iof .32 revolver.
Best round for self defence would be one with the highest velocity and heavy bullet weight.
If you can not fire high velocity round in it then you dont have much choice but to fire standard velocity rounds only.
Try to avoid hollow point for self defence as they lack penetration.
