This is a very old thread but found something interesting and i know there are lot of folks with this caliber gun.
There is this adapter to shoott .32 Colt. it was part of the original winchester gun accessories only, there are quite a few listing on ebay and other auction site.

Hi! this is MFA, if anyone is interested in .32-40 ammo i have a friend who owned such rifle and sold it long time ago but still has a few rounds left.

Ankur1981. Nope; .32 revolver has a very undersized bullet compared to .32-40, .312" vs..321". Accuracy would be very poor.

I'm guessing that reloading in India is not something that happens very often? The 32-40 and the 30-30 Winchester are made on the same basic case. To get new 32-40 cases just shoot a few 30-30 and the case should fireform to 32-40 dimensions.

I don't know how difficult it would be to order from these folks, but at $20/box it sounds cheaper than the OWS
