James,

There are two bores in the 8x57/8mm mauser/7.92.One is .318 and the other .323.Fresh ammo would invariably be for the .323 bore.

Thanks for the feedback , being more inclined towards handgun and shortgun but now one of the known person had offered this rifle and I am luck enough to got my rifle licence in hand now,

This is just for model reference , the condiction as per Indian scenario is MINT , the asking price is 3.5L .
What guys in the forum think about cost of rifle and ammo avaliablity /cost compared to 30 06 in India .

very expensive, i would not pay more than 2 lacs for it ( if it is new ) if used then it would be 1.5 .
