my home made slingshot crossbow

Post by englishtown » Sun Mar 06, 2016 1:34 pm

I made this slingshot crossbow using intructables app

the stock is wooden 3.5 feet length, for power i hv used exercise rubber bought from net. with 80 pound strength.

I put two plastic pulleys with bearings inside.

its effective range is 20 feet approx. with wooden arrows..

i'm planning to buy aluminium bolts.

i cud not get a good string although.

Only con is it is heavy, as i cud not get aluminium plates, so i used a wooden block.

suggestions are welcome

I am scared to use similar bows or catty using rubber tubing as any failure means your aiming eye is on the line.
