When I went to school in Mumbai, we had quite a few Bawas in the school.
Many of them marched to the beat of a slightly different drummer and took pride in being called Mad Bawas. So this is not meant as a slur, rather a tip of the hat to his uniqueness, ingenuity, inventiveness and intelligence.
