DIY Knifemaking: a compact Barong

Post by astronomy.domaine » Mon May 11, 2015 12:42 am

Hi All,
Here is a quick cobble based on the SE Asian Barong. Its a compact 4inch blade made from 2mm thin CS plane blade and retains a good edge. Bolsters are soft steel and grip is thin chord over epoxy base.
Please have a look..! comments and suggestions are most wlcome...! :)

Really awesome knife. Really liked the shiny knife blade. What material is the handgrip made from ?
Keep knives in your pocket and pray that you will never need it

astronomy.domaine,

I do not know why I even bother to comment on your creations..... As mentioned by me a lot of times, you are not only a master craftsman/ engineer, but an artist as well.
However, let the pics of your creations coming through. You creations create an excitement in my otherwise mundane life.

Keep it up.

Regards

Atul
