looking for Compound Bow

Post by gmg » Thu Jan 09, 2014 4:33 pm

Hello everyone. This is my first post on IFG. I am looking for a compound bow but am not able to find a decent one. I have already tried stikage, they are out of compound bow. Gsmith have them but their starting model CO 010 is marked at Rs. 17,500. As I have never owned or shot a compound bow I dont wish to spend so much money on it. Can anyone please suggest a site where I could buy one say Rs. 10,000 or close to it. Thank you.

Hey!! Thanks mite. I called 1800 sports as they didnt display any specs on their bows and upon calling they told me they were out of stock and have stopped dealing in archery products!!  So I saw Stag bows, so I called them up regarding the same. They told me they would email me the details so lets see how it works out!!! Fingers crossed!!!

Finally got a INITECH 2 re-curve bow from Geologic from Decathlon Ahmedabad. But they didn't have arrows on them, I found Geologic carbon arrows on Snapdeal.com. So have to wait couple of days before I could start shooting. Also as suggested by Kalasjnikovcult, contacted Gsmith, and they told me they would require a minimum order of 25 arrows. And also contacted Ruth India, ordered wooden arrows aswell just for quick try.

Will upload pics soon.

Thank you all for your wonderful help and support!!!

i dont know where you are based, theres a guy in our forum who runs arjuna archery you can search it online for his phone ,hes got a shop in dharavi and manages a archery range in a big shopping mall at kurla .
try for carbon arrows approx 500- 600/arrow need to buy half or one dozen.
hope this helps.

Bowman for a long time I have my eyes fixed on a certain tactical crossbow that works on the M16 receiver :D Do you think one could import that too ?
