My Benchmade I have had for over 10 years. Use it everyday, including when I need to chop stuff upto cook. It is high speed tool steel, so it hold a edge but is a real pain to sharpen. It has a clip so I just stick it into my jeans.

My Al Mar is used when I travel. Its a very strong knife as the blade is much thicker than the Benchmade. Has a clip also so I can stick it into my pocket.
