Folks,
I have always been fascinated with arms and armour of our country from the Mughal-Rajput-Mahratta era. Am now learning more about arms and warfare from the pre Islamic period in our country's history. This is one aspect that, unfortunately has not been documented extensively and I would like to do so.
Unlike firearms, which would be used to fight with over a given distance, edged weapons involve contact with the opponent. This is the interesting part, and I highly value people from our past who have been warriors and their arms and have given so much to our country.
Moreover, being a true blue Rajput I literally worship the sword
