will wait tenx. talking of weak points i guess a starter is generally weak in all aspects. so half an hour may really not suffice. so i guess i will continue to wait.

Why don't you import one? IHP is not worth by looking at their workmanship.

izh baikal 46m is the best! Perhaps your Grand children also can do quality shooting with this :D

Why do you think such an odd looking pistol was made? The Baikal 46m has been used to create air pistol records according to ace shooter Shimon. It is however a little more difficult to shoot with in the beginning as it is nose heavy and the grip has to be worked upon. So it is easy to get discouraged, but once you get over that you can shoot just as well with it.

No guns are equal. The moment you hold your first gun, you will have one or the other problem. It will take for a while for everyone to get used to with it. Modern gun makers gives you lot of features by which one can make the gun customized to a greater extent and you you pay for that. Where as for BAIKAL, you really have to spend some time with it for the customization and and customized yourself to hold and shoot the gun and after that you will not change your mind to look for another gun :)

Tirtha

Do YOU have specific BAD experience with the IHP PCP pistol or rifle.....OR know someone who has courted disaster by going for the IHP PCP pistol ?

I am seriously considering getting an IHP PCP pistol and converting it into a mini rifle like the C2240, C1377 etc.
Now you know I am a big fan the American Crosman AND I am speaking positively about the IHP PCP pistol coz I know it is.

Everything thats made in INDIA is not lemons

If possible try the IHP PCP pistol and the IZH before parting with the money. There is nothing wrong with the IHP PCP pistol. Unless you are playing Nationals or beyond, where you will need a Morini or a Steyr.....

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.
