Even as a novice I believe you should get a better airgun. If your budget restricts you to springers, look out for used Slavias or FWB 300, If you have a slightly higher budget Maybe HW77's.. Indian airguns are just good for backyard plinking (at best)

Start with the 25, as most of us did. Misery loves company :D
Seriously; by all means look for a better rifle, but don't let that stop you from getting started with the 25. With decent pellets it's adequate

Amanali

Welcome aboard.

Continue to know your N25 and learn to shoot well with it, till you get a better rifle.

In our country people have shot Gold, Silver and Bronze with an N25 in 10mtr Open Sight category.

This is what I shot with a beat up, heavily abused N25 today and its my best grouping ever with a N25.
The target is a standard 10mtr air rifle card shot at 10mtrs.
And let me tell you I have miles to go. :D

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Get one from outside if you have a club membership and are willing to wait a bit, and probable 'talks' with the customs/postal depts. Buy one in India, if available, and you feel the budget to be OK :)

DAWS making air rifle for quite a long time.
It settles at 400-450 fps in .22.
