Most cheapest way to make a pull through is to use a shoe lace. Just tie some knots and make sure that they are of proper size. You ll be surprised to see the amount of lead on the knots that comes out with just one pull.
Peace.

David wrote:Custom Made Pull Through for Air Rifle Barrel Cleaning - Cheap DIY - If you have the required items, the cost of making it will be not more than Rs : 30

What I Used is as follows ( most of them or using re-usable material )

1- Guitar String ( 3rd or 4th ) : 15 Rs
2- Badminton Getting wire : If you have spare then no investment. .
3- Fishing line : To do the winding over the getting wire placed on the tip of the guitar string. Do a winding to one Inch
4- Fevi-bond - Rs 5 . apply on the string ( 1 inch from the end ) before you place the getting wire to that the wire sticks to the string.

Note: First Image is just the raw string and second image has a cover over the string. I used the scooby wires ( that my kids had )
The guitar string has a brass stud at the end . I used a Key chain ring added through that stud to have a hold( just a trial ) . You can use alternative like allen key.

I will post my new custom made Spring compressor + Airgun holder for maintenance work ( 2 in 1 ) in the next post.

I am eagerly waiting for the spring compressor. My guitar is going to get new strings soon.

hi friends, when i insert gsmith pellets into my ihp 35 .22, the skirt appears little large. it projects about 0.5 to 1 mm beyond the breech and cannot be pushed in with hand. is this normal? or will this damage my gun? i read from this post that pellet should not go in flush with bore easily. cheaper marksman shot pellets goes in like that, but are shooting well perhaps with more velocity than g smith. so i have temporarily stopped shooting with gsmith. this may be a stupid question because i have posted this with pics before in another post "planning to buy my first air rifle" but nobody replied. but please help me.

Dear keygun,
I did see your post but could not open pics.to comment and post the answer.
Different pellets have varied size of head and shirt alongwith varied weight.
You have to choose pellet as per your requirement and see which pellet gives accuracy as well as velocity at the same time.
Every gun likes some of the pellets but not all.
You may try MSRH 14.3 grns export along with other brands.
Too tight skirt and head may reduce velocity to some extent.

Unfortunately , Mastershost RH is also not very consistent ,when it comes to skirt dia.
A IHP .22 can reach near 12 foot/lbs energy after tuning with this pellet.

Dear all, i bought .177 synthetic IHP last year and .22 this year. The company gives no manual and no details for maintaining the gun. Performance wise both are accurate and as good as precihole but less powerfull. The trigger of .22 ihp is surprisingly very light, however while cocking ,the spring makes lot of noise.More smoothness is required and of course the gun manuals. Anoop

dear anoop, welcome to ifg. according to experts here, for reducing spring noise, you need to apply motor cycle grease over the spring. power may decrease a bit but smoothness and accuracy improves. and i dont know if a gun manual for ihp even exists

IHP does provide a manual for both IHP 35 in .22 and .177. Dealers mostly don't care to give it to customers.

Bandukbhander is correct.
When I bought my National-25 from Aimco , it had a manual with warranty card.
When I had a problem with synthetic seal , IHP responded with reference to my warranty card.

I am a beginner and want to take shooting seriously but have budget constrain. My question is IHP pneumotic compresses rifle is permitted in international and national event organised by ISSF. It would be a great help because german guns cost approx 2 lakhs which is expensive for me.

Yes permitted, but don't think any one uses IHP rifles in International events. In National events you will find lots of shooters using IHP rifles.
