First time Airgun purchase - National 35 .22
Hi,
I just joined this forum recently and made my first purchase after that.
I happened to visit Cochin for a personal visit and I visited T. Jacob and Co. which has its shop on Press Club Road close to Marine Drive. I bought the National (IHP) 35 Model .22. He had only the .22 model available. I first tried one of the guns that he had but it was off the bulls-eye by about 3 inches. I had a doubt that I was a bad shot.
Then he tried and he also was off, so he asked me to try another gun and bingo, I had my first bulls-eye.
So I have brought the gun with me to Bangalore, but so far haven't had a chance to open it due to hectic schedules.
I live in the Cooke Town area so any of you guys out here are familiar with some places to go and do some practice shooting, that information would be very helpful for me since I live in an apartment.
Thanks,
Gopi

Glad to be of help.
1) IHP Model 35 .22 - Rs. 3300.00 (T. Jacob & Co. - Cochin)
2) Took a shot with the first one but it went off target by about 3 inches. After some adjustment, it was still off target. Then I asked them for another gun and bingo, It was a BULL'S-EYE. So I picked up that one.
3) Havent done much with the gun after the purchase. But it felt really good with the power.
HTH,
Gopi

Hey Leodude, thanks for answers. I am so looking to get my hand on my own National 0.177. I will give that guy a dose of *&%$* tomorrow.
But I am not sure if there is any place to test the sights of the rifle.
Pls some Senior mems can instruct me on a way that I can check the rifle sight without shooting it.
thanks
