Yes, it is. But there is a demerit of the gun the pellets some time get stuck in the barrel. After lot of search I understood being a low powered gun having rifling impacts the smooth transfer.

Try changing the spring to one from Precihole. It might help.

Yes I have spoken to Gr. Eastern for sending the pistol back to factory for the same. However could not conclude the spring for the same. I believe the real problem is the good rifling. I would be also purchasing the smoothbore version of the same model. Then we can check

Thanks,

Ideally Yes, because as I make my purchases from Great Eastern. Replacent stocks for Sdb AR's are available with them however the air pistol is slow moving item I believe would take some time to procure the stock. I can ask them on my next week visit.

Hi kaushiknfs,

Just coming back from GR.E. They confirmed they can arrange the stock. However could not confirm the price but said incase you are looking for the stock of the rifled ver. it would cost more than the smoothbore one due to difference in finishing. Also note both stocks are interchangeble.

Hi Sniper,
Regarding the low velocity I had ordered synthetic O ring from Sdb through Gr.E. which they have brought. I have replaced the O ring need to test for a stipulated no. of shots to understand the efficiency. On a prior note the O ring is made up of very soft material hence found multiple tear up at the bottom post multiple cocking.

How's accuracy and what's max range it holds accuracy.?
Try using pistol purpose made pellets they are exceptionally light weight.

The RH United shot is suiting its appetite. However I think the concern is the air leakage. Let me check with couple of 100 shots post the change of O ring. Also have taken your advise will check out with few more pellet types.
Also suggest if any other O ring is available for the pistol

Hello Veerbhadra,
My Frontier in .22 has been good for a max 25feet range. Tends to shoot an inch low at that distance. The rear sight being very basic, couldn't do much about it despite adding a shim to raise elevation.
Rifling too is not of a good quality. Prefers wider pellet . US RH shoots best.
Have worked on its tuning -smoothened the internals, replaced the synthetic sealed with a resized Mod23 leather seal....and of course the trigger release.
Overall, it is shooting good. I love it for occasional armchair indoor shooting

Prashant

This pistol is only good for plinking. I had bought mine just for the build up outlook & I do not regret that. Hope more manufactures come up with conceptual designs.

..Ah...25....need to relook..but armchair definately.

Hi All,

An update, post changing to synthetic O ring the pistol is working fine. None of the pellets have struck in the barrel. Hence change of spring postponed.

Indian Springer pistols have issues, be it SDB, PH, He Man...... You'll have to live with it or work a lot on it to make it meet "acceptable levels"
