Dear dlancerx,

A stiffer spring can help you increase the velocity but will lead to lower shot count per fill. Your modification to the velocity may have considerable effect on the accuracy of your gun. I believe that you know about the fact that there is a legal limit to the energy delivered by projectile at the muzzle. it is the responsibility of the airgun owner not to breach it and may lead to fatality. Hi All,
I am Saravanan from Chennai

Can any one help to know about precihole px100 achllies.I am new to air rifle and I don't have any.
After reviewing some blogs I have come to know that precihole px100 is best among all.
But my only concern is
1. What are all the add-on items we will get with Rifle
2. Buying scuba tank is not my choise. So filling air will be the toughest part as we don't have any feasibility in Chennai to fill air. How can I solve this issue
3 . We have only two dealers in Chennai for to support precihole that too not good. If this is the case will precihole do after sales service in Chennai
4.what is the warranty or guarantee period ?
5.Do we have any place in Chennai to fill air ?

Dear Saravanan,

There are few threads on PX100 in this forum, if you search it, u will acquire a wealth of knowledge.

1. Best person to answer all your queries to PX100 is Precihole support. go to their website, send a mail or call. they are very very supportive.

2. buy a PCP hand pump.it may cost from Rs 3500 (chinese) to Rs 28,000(UK, hill pump). i would suggest to start with Low cost PCP pump.

3. Trust issue is a big thing with the dealers. I believe it is a simple gun. if you have interest in mechanical tinkering, you may master it by your self.

4. Hopefully 1 year, but ask Precihole....

5. Yoiu may check with the local fire station or the local rifle club. usually these are the two places you may get a high pressure pump. you may talk with SCUBA diving/ Navy guys at chennai for the same.

I hope the information will be useful to your quest.

Regards,

Mayank

My Achilles with a 9" Suppressor. Now the only sound audible at the shooters point is the sound of the hammer hitting the valve .

The same suppressor works great on FX Impact too.

That is indeed a very useful heads-up for all enthusiasts keen on trying out modifications on their guns....and thank you indeed for this update, GNV sir!
I also think that, going forward, a basic round up from your side of all that one needs to be mindful of (e.g. thread sizes, adaptor, alteration in weight distribution, etc) to carry out this mod on their guns will be most apt. How much heavier did the moderator make the gun?
Second, did you also notice in change in group size or shift in POI after installation please? Just curious if the added weight affected barrel vibration and it's elliptical cycle in a way that may have altered the pellet exit from an antinode to node. I am asking because this is most usually the case.
One additional thing that I am also keen to know is if such a mod would be advisable on a springer. And if so, are there adapters sized for the most common barrel ODs of springers (normally ranging between 14.5 to 16mm, to the best I recall offhand). I understand though that barrel sizes on most local guns are already in excess so an add-on will only make them cumbersome and woefully long.; but a word of advice would be most useful.
Thanks again and look forward to hearing more.
Regards,
Prashant

For the springer it won't work, I built two of them(suppressor)
(1)Metal rod for barrel and spray can for chamber loaded with steel wool.
(2)Two pvc pipe with different diameter and loaded it with cotton wrap.
(Lots of hotglue & tape.)
It neutralize the sound output from barrel but the sound of piston hammering is still there and it makes no sense to use compressor with Spring/Nitro piston rifle.

Doesn't looks good, DIY with unused items.

Pretty innovative that, dear Bullo Oka!!
Most commendable out-of-box effort!! Thanks for sharing!

To the best of my understanding of barrel size vis-a-vis stroke (and related power plant specs), such a makeover would be advisable only for low powered plinkers with short barrels. A half-inch UNF thread, I learn, is all you need on the barrel to mount suppressors /moderators....or a muzzle brake attachment (one with concentrically placed holes for quickly dissipating the muzzle air blast), in the least!!
Cheers!
Prashant

Hi, everyone.
Don't you guys think that the bolt action lever in px100 is bit odd looking.
