High powered spring for Indian AR

Post by rigin7 » Sat Jul 01, 2017 1:29 am

Hi all,

I would like to hear the possibilities of adding a gamo extreme Hunter 1250 main spring to an Indian AR... Is it possible to do so..?if yes how is done...? As normal?
How it affects the gun..?

Plz share your comments.

Don't expect any positive change. It will not increase the power.Power depends on various factors like the swept volume (volume of air compressed during the shot). But if the spring is more powered, then it can cause various problems. You can change to synthetic seal is the only option to increase the power slightly.but you need to increase the length of the compression chamber to further increase it's power.

Energy of projectile is not directly proportional to spring energy.
I do not think there would be much change in projectile energy.
