This is disheartening. If successive batches are improved, it discourages one to immediately buy, even worse, confidently buy.

My gun has turned out to be extremely accurate if somewhat technique intensive due to its ultra long piston stroke. I am pretty satisfied with what I got for the money. I waited for them for quite some time until I realized that their design is mature enough to go for..

Yes. AARMAR is known to have good tools. Quality is expected. Only thing is that. It's released pre final trials.

Hello all,
It's great to find so much discussion on this Rifle.
I'm looking to buy Mod 16 and wanted to know from someone who has bought it whether it has any serious shortcomings.

I had held the older Mod 15 sometime back and found the weight distribution was a little off, is it any better in the new model?
Would you recommend this for target shooting at 10m/25m?

You need a PCP for target shooting. This is a springer..

Where it stands out is good power and accuracy under 'field' conditions.. I have dragged my gun across varied terrains and it has never disappointed me even at extreme distances.

Hi nitroex7000,
Thanks for your suggestion but PCP is too big of an expenditure for me right now.
I've decided to go for NX100 Polaris for now and will post my experience in a different thread.

For target shooting you may try the club elite of Precihole. It is ok for target shooting if PCP is not an option...

The gun has an 11mm dovetail so it will accept any mount meant for the purpose.

I have used a Chinese 4x20 and 3-9x40 on it. Thinking of putting a hawke vantage I got recently...
