What is the construction like? I sincerely hope it doesn't contain plastic..
The main tube is some form of aluminum but hard. The front and back tubes which hold the lens elements look like ABS plastic. Windage turns sometimes do not register and you have to tap it with the back of the screwdriver for it to move in place.

After a while, the laser dot and crosshair didn't align. Initially I thought it the scope changing position overnight but it was actually a problem with the laser module. Everytime I fired a shot, the vibrations were crushing the threads on the pcb board - download/file.php?id=14048&mode=view - which was causing it to move. This showed me how much pressure the scope was in and so I've glued all joints, mount contacts, screw heads etc of the scope with white fevicol. The glue becomes clear crystaline like after it dries so I can spot cracks if they do eventually form but I've layered the glue in hourly intervals so no cracks yet.

:D , yeah it is big. I should have gone for 40 objective lens. It is slightly heavy.

Due to it's 50mm objective lens, scope is brighter and I can view objects even when there is little light during night.

Dear Vidya,
Due to big objective lens the image surely look brighter.
But this scope expected to be heavy.
I suggest , for ARs , a 4x32 mm scope is sufficient.
This helps for scoot & shoot easily due to less weight.

I second Basu da's thought .My 15 ft/lb .177 HW90 with a sportsmatch dampa mount (Out prices the scope !! ) and a 4x32 diana scope with clear lens and a very fine duplex reticle shoots frighteningly accurate at 35 to 50 yards with barracuda match over hundreds and hundreds of pellets and doesn't add any significant weight to the rifle .Currently I don't find any reason to replace it with a larger heavier scope .Artillery hold with rifle floating on the left palm is all it takes to put 2/3rd to 1/2 inch groups at 35 yards .

Broadway ,

This was my first scope on a (4x20) air rifle around 3-4 years back along with a similar 2x8-28 scope . But I pried open the default mounts and mounted with a 1 inch single mount with some thick two sided tapes to compensate for the thinner OD of the scope .And these scopes hold up pretty well on a 11 ft lb rifle like precihole .But they have pretty dull lenses and are good for short duration plinking to 20 -25 yards in good light conditions.

Love the challenge these springers throw at you and make you add character to your shooting with good habits and practices ,making /preparing you as a better all round shooter .At the same time to shoot accurately with a springer gives you a deep sense of accomplishment with all the technicalities and practice involved.

Dear Jatin,
As I told earlier, by default I am a open sight shooter.
Scoot & shoot is best with open sight any day.

+ 1 t oBasu Sir, I'm not liking the scope much these days...It used to be fun with open sight. Only benefit these days, i can clearly see the impact point when I miss a shot. i don't have to walk up to the target.

I may order 32mm objective lens for the practical purpose....Not saying that the current scope is bad but I feel it is not necessary given it's extra weight....

Dear vidya,
If you hear me , for springers , 4x32 is enough to hit till 40 yds.
But like Moulindu , who has some problem of sighting , must go for higher variant.
My one 4X32 mm is stuck at customs  and I donot know what to do. :(

Lol...... Basu, please proceed to conduct a funeral for the scope ROTFL. On a serious note, did you get any response for your revert?
