Air rifles in new-york

am going to visit new york for a few weeks in august could some one tell me as to where could i get my self an air rifle around there
i would really appreciate if some one could also tell me about what all rifles i should check out

From what I know ags and New York don't go together. It is very strict and you may need a firearm permit sorta thing please get your brother to check up with the local leos.

A firearm licence is required to purchase an Air Rifle /Pistol in New York City.

wooo after 25 minutes also i had reached no wehre near the end ill read the rest tomorrow it only mentioned about rifles and shot guns nothing about air rifles but

Why dont you transit via Dubai or Lon on return,a few IFG members have bought Airguns there,save you the headache of getting permits etc.

The Yanks post 9/11 are paranoid about security,so much so that while exiting the US you cant even put lock on your suitcase.After the baggage has been checked in they do an inspection of each piece.

This happens for sure when departing from the West Coast,not sure about the East,could be the same rules apply.

But in any case just check with the Airline you using before your dep if they allow carriage of Airguns.

have been calling up their office for the past two days but in vain they dont know anything about it
one lady even suggested me to buy rifles from india it self and y bother carrying them all the way from the states in their flight

got a stop in abu dabi for good 4 hrs but doubt if ill be allowed to move out


my dreams about gettin a rifle seem getting smashed

4 hours is not enough,they wont let you go out of the airport.

I meant that you take a stop over for a couple of days in Dubai.

That should keep your hopes alive & have a good time in city too

Just check the mailing restrictions that pyramyd air or any air rifle dealer has. It has the big negative written all over it.
