basking in reflected glory

Post by dev » Mon Nov 20, 2006 11:53 am

Okay here is a pic of an elk shot in colorado. The hunter is my cousins hubbie, he hunts and gets deer almost every year for the twenty or so years that we have known him. Brian normally begins with bow season and goes through the whole gamut till he gets one.

Brian masquerades as a lawyer, when he's not working for venison.

This year he went with an outfitter in Colorado and dropped this bull elk with a 30.06 at 100 yards with a 150 grain bullet. As Brian puts it nothing to write home about but does he have a freezer of meat. My sis will be carrying some elk jerky for me.

Regards,

Dev

Nothing to write home about?

Has he any idea what it's like in India?

Pass on my kudos regardless of what he thinks. ;)

I guess us desis will just have to learn to live via other peoples hunts.

He has no idea about hunting over hear except for what he hears from me. He was supposed to come visit this year but then I guess elk fever got him. I will pass on your wishes to him.

DEV.
