Tradition continues with a Dove hunt on opening day!!

Post by conty1 » Wed Sep 04, 2013 5:15 am

Place: Lanark, IL
Date: September 1st 2013 (I know the camera says 8/31... but its a mistake)

So as we do every year, went for the opening day of the hunting season for some doves. My friend Sunny, mom-dad, my son Ethan and myself. Turned out to be an amazing day with the perfect weather and plentiful game!! Shot about 25 doves total and dad caught a HUGE catfish that basically put the icing on the cake!!

Pictures tell the rest of the story:

Yea... He did squeeze the trigger. I did hold the gun for him though.

And the tractor... I have no idea. Its set up on a cement slab so I doubt it works.
