Please welcome a new member to the IFG fraternity

She's a 8 week old German Short Haired Pointer, her name is Chérie... and she is a real darling, but not without a personality! :) Though (due to current legal restrictions) she will be unable to use her potential as a gundog, I do intend to train her to at least learn the basics of what she was bred for... whether she ever gets to use those skills in the field or not!

Cheers!
Abhijeet

P.S. - A big thanks to the friends who made this possible, you know who you are! :D

She looks really nice.
We had one many years ago. A British Pointer called "Shelly". A true gun dog she was. Seldom barked but was great at "pointing".

Hi Abhijeet,

How is Cherie doing now? Would you like upload any recent pictures?

Regards.

Abhijeet,

Thank you very much for "pointing" me to the thread containing updated comments and pictures. I'm glad to learn that Cherie is well and thriving. Wish her all the best from me.

Regards.
