Cover Girl II

Post by xl_target » Thu Apr 19, 2012 12:31 am

The March/April 2012 issue of the Canadian Firearms Journal is on their website. Thanks to Haji for pointing out that they used a photo my daughter and myself on the cover. She is also on the cover of the March 2011 issue.

Here is the "about the cover" section.

The full issue can be downloaded from their website HERE
The photo was taken by our own Oleg Volk.

Xl Sir,
why would they not use this picture.
It is so natural for you and your daughter, as it is said a picture is worth 1000 words.
This picture covers all, to name a few,
Responsible parent ( purposily avoided Father, I hope you understand :) )
Trust
Respect
confidence
knowing the gun
Comfort with guns, that can only come with training, love and affection for the same.

Hat's off to your Sir.You made them lucky( the publishers)

Regards.

XL, I love this. As was said it is worth a thousand words -- no, actually more -- to show that we are not a bunch of wild-eyed freaks, goons, or other undesirables or sociopaths. We are your next door neighbors who work hard for a living, pay our taxes, and raise families to be contributing members of society. What's more, we'd invite non-gunowners to join us and fellowship with us, to see what it is about firearms that we enjoy so much.

Excellent photo, and thanks for the link. I'm going to browse through some of our Canadian brothers' goings-on. They are more restrictive north of the border than it is here, and it will be interesting to see their perspectives.

Really love the two handguns that your daughter wears on her hip. Lucky to have a great dad and friend.
