Hunting Doves in Lincoln, IL

Post by conty1 » Wed Oct 12, 2011 12:21 pm

Unfortunately the camera battery died after the hunt and couldn't take a picture of the 29 birds we shot, but do enjoy the family pic.

Cheers,
Amit

Dear conty1,
Nice pictures, a nice way to memorize a holiday for the rest of the life.
BTW is that handgun yours?
When I'll get to shoot a gun?

Thanks guys..... yes it sure was a lot of fun. Especially having my kids shoot a .410.

Priyan: That is an air pistol... a Webley Alecto. One of the best air pistols I have ever had!!

About the other guns, My wife(red shirt) is carrying a Lefevre Arms SXS, I have a Winchester O/U, my dad is carrying a Eastern Arms SXS and mom has my favorite workhorse... the Remington 870. (All 12 guage)

Norah (yellow shirt) is carrying a Savage arms .410. This is a single shot gun with a nice ejector. I couldnt think of a better gun for small bird hunting than this.

The Lefevre, Winchester and Savage are my cousin Sunny's... he's takin the pic.
