timmy wrote:Very nice toys, indeed! Your broomhandle and stock are quite interesting. But even with your guns, which are nice, I must admit that my eyes were glued to your Enfield!

Especially, I liked you including a picture of the greatest treasure, your parents!

Thanks for sharing.

Yes it was made in a doon garage at my friend alam's workshop and hard to believe it was done way before the chopper scene started and the bike magazine came out with its inaugural issue. They featured two choppers in it which were also ordered by two doon boys who had actually got inspired by this chopper. We never really publicized it and never sent pics to any magazine.

Seems like you guys liked the pics will post some more soon.

Lovely toys capt! The Broomhandle looks to be in good condition. Do you fire it often? what ammo do you feed it? The smith looks nice too!The Enfield was a real bonus :D .

@ Anand thanks yes my father has taken good care of his broom handle for the last 30yrs he has had it. Its was a gift from a family member who probably had it for about 40 yrs with him. We try using 7.63 but have used 7.62 also a few times without any probs.
@ striker thanks and we play with all our toys....

captrakshitsharma, The car is very interesting -- I'd appreciate some education on what it is! I do love the Enfield musket! Quite a few of them were imported by both sides for use in the US Civil War, so they have a pretty widespread history!

Your Vauxhall 10 HP is in good condition.I donot think it requires any further restoration to the shell.
Can you please post pictures of the engine bay and interiors?

Very nice collection Captain. I never knew there was a Diana 375 magnum. Is that a .22? What is the year of manufacture?

@ timmy The car is a British 1934 Vauxhall 10hp. Four cylinders. As for the enfield musket It was a part of my grandfather's prized possessions and my father in his teenage days kept himself amused with this gun and brought home a lot of partridge with it.

@nitro Will post interior pics.. welcome any suggestions for a top quality paint and interior job.

@ Ebenzer yes the diana .375 magnum has been there for a while i ve had it for last 4 yrs . yes its is a .22 and the most powerful springer that diana makes.it comes in .177 also and u can choose a polymer stock also. look at the diana website and u will see it there.
