Request to all users to delete old PM's

Post by mundaire » Wed Apr 11, 2007 9:55 pm

In the interests of keeping the database size low, our system periodically deletes all sent box PM's. However, over time inbox PMs have been accumulating as well.

I would request all members to go through their respective inboxes and delete old PM's from time to time.

Cheers!

Just a reminder to ALL to delete their old PM's. I am going to set the system to clear out ALL PM's in every inbox/ outbox/ sentbox - on Wednesday (5th December). So if you have any information there that you would like to save, I would suggest you save it elsewhere before that date.

If anyone has any special requests, in this regard - please contact me directly... just do make sure that the PM is of particular import before you do that...

Cheers!

It's that time again, all users are requested to empty out their PM inboxes/ outboxes/ sent messages etc. You can always copy/ paste and save the relevant information in a document on your computer.

All PM's older than 1st January 2009 (leaving these alone in the interest of ongoing buy/ sell deals) will be deleted on 18th February 2009.

Cheers!

OK, yesterday was the deadline, so all PM's are going to be automatically deleted later today.

If you have any important information in your PM's, now is the time to save it offline (in a text file/ document) - no point contacting me afterwards as I will have no way to recover the information once the auto-delete happens...

Cheers!
