Hooray! Well done Bisnu - you can have one (or more) on me any time! About 40 would be appropriate :D Bravo Bisnu.

Hi Everyone,
> I quote our fellow IFGian Kanwar 76 " I am the Saint & Soldier that walks in Peace. I am the humble dust of your feet, but dont think my spirituality makes me weak. The Heavens will roar if my 'KUKHRI' were to speak"........

and use it when the occasion demands.

WOW .. what a story !!!! Reminds me of Mahabharata , Lord Bishnu is saving Droupadi from being molested by dushasana and kauravas while pandavas and thousand others were watching and remaining silent.

You are a real life hero with a lion heart. My Salute to you SIR.

He is a national hero and should be placed as Brand Ambassadors than those cricketers . Are the corporates listning ?

Few years?.... Daktar Saab you are being too generous - If I may hazard a guess, most of us have begun to forget the brave soul by now.... This is our country.

:agree: I am sure the parents of the hapless girl would be regarding him as God incarnate; but we as Nation also ought to keep such examples in limelight and hammer the same into collective and wakeful memory.

Incidentally, I came across this piece of information only on IFG and when I checked with a few friends none of them ever head of this incident. Probably it simply was not broadcast enough. That just shows the grand attitude of our media towards the "aam aadmi". :deadhorse:

Is there any possibility of tracking the good man and requesting him to be a member of IFG ? He would be a good brand ambassador apart from living inspiration to many of us.

Well, right now, its eljefe, baljit, you and me... If NAGRI, or IFG management or someone who can
1)locate our hero
and
2)locally access an Indian bank account
takes the lead, things will be a lot simpler. I wish this doesnt fall off the IFG mindspace...

What a brave lad redundant word for a Gurkha ..hopefully he is honored accordingly for risking his life and limb..what if he had a gun on him would have taken some of those characters out and then possibly court martial ed vagaries of Indian system

A gorkha with a small knife and a smile is far more dangerous than a marine with big guns and a frown"
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the
Eye of the tiger
