My First Ever Post here and pics of some of my toys

Post by viras » Sat Mar 29, 2008 12:36 pm

Hello

This is my first ever post here.

I am a member of a few Gun and Gun Rights Board (www.calguns.net, www.taurusarmed.net, www.ar15.com, etc), but this is the first board I've seen for Indians - AWESOME!

Since I am from California, I can have some toys that you boys most likely can't! :P So I thought I'd share a couple of pics of some of my toys...

The AR-15 Style Rifle is one I custom built from various different parts, in a fully legal configuration in the state in which I reside in the United States. All of the parts are US Made. Here is a parts list:

*Lauer Custom Weaponry LCW-15 Lower Receiver (manufactured by LMT) and Lower Parts Kit
*Spikes Tactical "Chubaka" Special Edition Upper Assembly (16" Stainless steel fluted Shaw barrel, A3 flat top receiver, Yankee Hill Machine Light Weight Specter free float rail with end cap and low profile gas block).
*VLTOR EMOD Buttstock Assembly
*Midwest Industries Flip Up Front and Rear Back-Up Iron Sights

The AK-47 Style Rifle is called a Russian American Armory Saiga .308. It is based on the AK and is considered an AK in the Hunting configuration. It is actually manufactured in the IZHMASH factory in Russia and then imported to the US, the same factory which produces the AK-47...

The speargun is what I use to go spearfishing for Yellowtail Tuna here in San Diego, California. :D

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and wish you all good shooting!

The AR can chamber both the 5.56X45mm NATO and the Civilian .223 Remington rounds.

Similarly, the Saiga (AK) that I have can chamber both the 7.62X51mm NATO and the Civilian .308 Winchester rounds.
