Complete bolt won’t be available anywhere.

One case could be that you get a FIR registered regarding the lost bolt and based on the FIR, the factory provide you new one. Before getting the FIR, discuss with the factory. Chances are slim but no harm in trying.

Second case is you find a rifle whose barrel is damaged and the bolt is of no use to the owner.

Firstly try to find the bolt if not then you can go for a complete new one fabricated from a good gun smith 😊

I guess a newly made bolt assembly by a gunsmith may cost at least half the rifle's cost itself if not more.

RFI might insist on seeing the broken bolt..

Best would be to approach RFI through a dealer & ask if any option is available to purchase spares. Also one can contact RFI directly & ask the procedure to purchase spare bolt.

RFI folks neither acknowledge your email nor reply to it. If at all by luck you can get anyone on the phone their answer is No for any and all queries on spares.

I'd love to hear how you managed to lose it. Often happening occurrences when the rifle is stored in a hard case with bolt removed and kept in a separate compartment . some light years ago I had heard that an avid hunter lost the bolt of his Winchester 30-06 rifle in the jungles. Late Yashwant (gunsmith)seems built the whole bolt for him that worked as good or better and that too on his ancient lathe that needed to be powered with a leg paddle. I was fortunate to see him work on this lathe as a youngster. I am sure who so ever this rifle went to eventually wont ever know that the bolt is indigenously made.
