Lee Enfield Ishapore

Post by garydm » Sat Nov 28, 2015 11:38 am

I recently purchased in the US, a Lee Enfield, made in 1950. It was made at the Ishapore arsenal, I am having some difficulties in getting the correct furniture and a few other parts that make this a unique and wonderful rifle. Any assistance that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. :D

Gary
As CK advised congrats these guns were built solid back then..there are bunch of sites where folks have refurbished these rifles and advise on ammo to be used etc. Unfortunately there are no parts available out of India since these rifles are considered prohibited bore PB and not available to civvies.
Good luck and post some pictures folks could chime in
