Congratulations, How did you manage to get a Bruno allotted to you in India??
Hopefully my two rifle licences are coming through soon, I wanted to pick up one IOF .22 rifle and a second hand Bruno from the market.

Sir, I am still working on the stock..time crunch.
And the Brno I have been allotted is an Army NSP issue.

Yes, definitely. The following are answers to your questions, with first hand experiece:
a. Brno are the maximum. 1 or 2 odd Krico, but in bad shape. May be one or 2 odd mauser, winchester or remington, but don't go for any single shot.
b. You can definitely choose. Just take all necessary docs, especially NOC from your licensing authority. Just tell them not to allot you without seeing. & let me suggest, choose a Brno, check everything. Especially, check the magazine , firing pin, and safety catch, coz these are he parts which are generally faulty. They'll replace the parts immediately. Then leave it with them for some days for maintenance and bluing etc, after which, when you get it back, its as good as new.
c. No, you don't need an all India license. Just a license, plus NOC. Also CO's certificate that you don't possess a NSP already. Just carry your license and icard along.
That is all i can remember. Rest, you an PM me for anything else or 1 or 2 odd contacts.

Very smart looking rifle. It will look very nice after proper bluing and touch up of the stock.
