The .22 LR remains dangerous upto a mile or so.

Shooting a .22 beyond 100 meters gets very interesting due to wind drift. The furthest I have shot mine is at 300 meters, and it taught me a lot about reading wind very quickly. Typically you will shoot at ranges between 25 and 100 meters. Most competitions involving the .22 LR are at 50 M.

a v nice rifle the scope looks excellent on it. my son is getting his license very soon which scope do u recommend?

Hi Vrohan59,

I am also planing to buy the same rifle. I am getting it somewhere but the rifle looks brand new specially the but and barrel. THe dealor says that it is brand new and not a single round is fired. What you think is it possible that the riffle is brand new and untouched. Or how to check whether the rifle is new or he is making fook.
