i just want to ask one question? r we allowed to buy 'DESERT EAGLE .50 AE'?? or we r allowed to buy handguns only from IOF?

Yes you can if you can find one in India :mrgreen: . Import of firearms is not allowed unless it is transfer of residence and one has to meet specific requirements for that depending upon the country you are coming back from.

i guess out of 250+ crore people few will surely hv! only if i cud find those few who hv it!! :-(

For anything other than 'mine is bigger than yours' the .50 AE is imprctical as a handgun. Plus ammunition is really expensive. And then again in the mine is bigger department, the BFR (Click here) will beat you silly.

If you can find one yes.. .50 AE is not a PB in India as far as I know.

now i know that we cann't import handguns/guns,so my dream of buying one desert eagle is now out of question.

now all i wanna know is that, is there other than IOF from where i can buy nice n good looking handgun?? i have checked IOF handguns which for me, what i think is there isn't good looking handguns.

if u have any idea from where i can buy other than IOF, i'll really appreciate.

First of all you need to have a valid Arms license , you can buy a handgun from an Arms Dealer. You can buy imported handguns from these Arms Dealer , although they will be second hand weapons . All imported prior to 1984. . You can choose from variety of Brands, type of weapons and from different sizes of bores. The choice is unlimited. But first get a license.
