Post by saahil » Fri Dec 11, 2009 6:03 pm

hi friends
i have uploaded a video of iof .32 acp ashani on youtube. it will clear doubts of many members and the potential buyers of this gun as i have read many a times regarding the jamming problem with this gun.from the time I bought this pistol i have fired dozens of rounds through it and fortunately never experienced any kind of flaw in its working,no doubts this gun looks ugly but it serve the purpose well,as a gun. Here is the link.take care.

Nice video,Saahil.Thank you for uploading.Enjoyed it.Hope you had proper ear protection as it was in doors.

Two things:

1.Isn't the slide held back at the last shot? How would one know that the chamber is empty ?

2.Finger out the moment shooting stops.

Thank you once again for sharing.Looking forward to the other clip.

Best-
Vikram

The revolver did not get damaged. The V spring of the top lever broke.Happens more often than the IOF chaps would like to accept.Wrong heat treatment is to blame,I suppose. It is an easy replacement, though.

It only breaks when you are opening or closing the revolver. You can always hold the lever closed with one hand and shoot with the other

James..
What is your annual quota,if you don't mind me asking.Considering the price of ammo in the country, that is over 20,000/-for the ammo. if you are firing KF exclusively.

thanks james, kumar, saptrishi ngrewal and vikram. you know james its your guns pics which made me believe that ashani can look better with a little touchup, and i made my mind to buy it. and vikram thanks for your concern but i was wearing a ear plug in my right ear and bluetooth on my left.In ashani, slide dont stay in the open position after the last shot, and i was in a hurry to stop the recording so forget to take off my finger from trigger.take care.
