I am sure the serial no. is there.Probably the camera did not pick it up.It is electro penciled and is very shallow.BTW any competent gunsmith can re-stamp the serial no.Not very hard to do.

Field stripped my IOF pistol and found a lot of metal grime, small metal bits like pin points. They must have been from manufacturing process. Mine is chrome finish. I bathed the pistol in rustlick and cleaned thoroughly with microfiber towel + high pressure air... Shot ten cartridges, each five in one go. No jams, no overheating. I observed that each time the ejected shell dropped on the very same spot meaning consistency of cartridge and ejector. But a big grouse is the sights being almost non-existent. I wanted to PM mr Bobby Sandhu but couldn't as this feature isn't enabled.
I want to modify only to this extent --
1- strip the chrome from slide and get it blued
2- three dot sights
3- magazine boot on both magazines
there is one more twist in the case. My firearm - licence is valid for Madhya Pradesh only.
Please suggest me the way out and the probable costs.
