Thank you Vikram and Vineet. I will share photos in the morning. The process is pretty straight forward you have to own weapon for 1 year at least. Get export permit from country of residence. Find an airline that allows carriage of weapon and ammunition and preferably is direct to your home-state as that is the airport that will confiscate your firearms. Upon arrival the customs will detain baggage. The HARDEST thing is to get a arms license in India ads at present in Punjab there is a blanket ban on issuance of new arms licenses so it took me 30-35 days to get my arms license. After getting the license go to airport customs pay the custom duty in and out in half an hour.

Sohrab, that is a lovely pistol you have there! They lay in one's hand so comfortably -- enjoy touching off that first round!

Thanks for sharing.
