How to buy a new handgun

Sir. I want to get a licence for pistol i dont have any information for the same please help me for knowing list of all the pistols from which i can choose one . specially i need information for 9 mm automatic pistol .
Please help me for same

Hi gunsharan,
Welcome to IFG, this forum has dealt with a majority of issues relating to getting an arms license to buying one. I would request you to go through the forum and am sure you will find the answers you are looking for.
Firstly you need to apply for an arms license and then get one. After this "achievement"of acquiring a license, what pistol or revolver you want to buy will really depend on how much you want to spend. The range is fairly wide from Rs 70000 to Rs 30 Lakhs...take your pick.
But first thing first...apply for an AL.
A 9 mm pistol is prohibited bore and is not available for the common man.
