Congratulations. Enjoy your new pistol safely and may you not face the need to use it in defence.

Can you please post clear pictures of Ashani .32 pistol and mention I can use it. I want to update the Wikipedia page with more information on Ashani. Thanks.

Hello Ashok,

Yes !! Thanks for the tips.
I went to buy a 0.32 IOF MK2 yesterday, at KK SHARMA. Exactly the same issue came up over the nose locking ring. They tried to tell me, it's fixed. Even the opening tool had been permanently removed from the pistol box & was being denied to me.
Sure enough, i walked away & got another pistol at another place.
Thanks & regards.

Rajiv.

Hello to all,
I had read one of the old posts, where one gentleman was asking another if the IOF pistol remained in the slide back position after the last round in the magazine was fired.

The reply was that it did.

Am using a Llama & IOF Mk 2. That lock does not exist in the IOF, and is there in the Llama. So the IOF MK2 will cock & slide forward even after the last round in the magazine is fired. It will not stay in the open position.

If for some reason you really want it so, Farhan in Meerut or Shamshudin in Delhi, will make it for you. For that matter, any good gunsmith will.

Regards to all.

Rajiv.

Hi Pokhar,
You may buy from :
1. IOF Depot.
2. Any gun shop.
3. A gun smith with a gun shop.

I would recommend the last. These pistols are not well finished & you will surely have to visit a gunsmith to fine tune it. So the last option will give you all under one roof.

The IOF does give a warranty but you have to take it to Cossipur.

Regards.

Rajiv
