Hello All,
I understand from some of the posts that 5 year sell restriction is withdrawn and even its confirmed by some the dealers as well, however is there any documentation available in this regard to show to authorities if needed while getting the sale permission ? Please help if anyone has any inputs on this point.

Thanks a ton
Ravi

GSF is still stamping it on license if you purchase from there. However if you purchase it from a dealer, there are no restrictions or 5 years bar.

Visited J.Biswas and Co in calcutta, bought the legendary!!! Ashani pistol @ Rs87000 ( John Browning would never have thought that a century after he designed Browning 1910, a pirated version of that pistol will cater to the needs of a whole nation / 16% population of the world / 1 billion people). Also got the plastic grips changed @some Rs 1600, also bought a pouch for cartridges and cleaning kit. Mr Joy and his father was very professional and informative. They showed me pistol in black powder finish and chrome. After racking the slides, listening to hammer, grip safety etc. , I chose chrome finish as controls and sounds were seeming very positive. Mr Joy also arranged for the Transit Licence same day. Thanks a lot.

Roopesh,

Normally new members are expected to introduce themselves so that the other members know something about you.
To buy a pistol from out of your license validity area you have to get a NOC from your LA and then buy the pistol from there.

Guys , is the new black Ashani still facing the jamming problem ? Have they improved it in any way ? Or is it just a powder job .

Ps- have read some of the previous posts , some have mentioned the black one has better quality

There is no difference in the quality of the black or chrome pistol.

I was also browsing gunaccessory .com , they have listed a magazine made by them . The description says it helps with the jamming problem , has any body used this magazine ? Did it help in any way ?
