Why what happened?

Law and order situation really.. very difficult to get in for the buyers very difficult to get out with weapons!!

the taliban nuisance has effectively disrupted the production/sale of weapons... many craftsmen have moved t peshawar

things are improving but nowhere what it used to be!! as already they have moved on to peshawar they have also started employing new technologies like CNC/improved materials etc

so Darra is more of a myth now really!!

Dear P S Grewal,
As I received some information that within few month Government of Indian is lifting the restriction of Import of a Foreign Made Weapons of NPB, for a period of One Years, so I hope that the peoples will import the weapons such as Revolver & Pistols from USA , Germany.
If the people have the passions they may get the Brand-New Weapons on the half price of IOB Pistols/ Revolvers plus the customs Duty.

This sounds too good to be true! Even if for one year!
Justice alone is the mainstay of government and the source of prosperity to the governed, injustice is the most pernicious of things; it saps the foundations of the government and brings ruin upon the realm - Sher Shah Sur, Sultan-ul-Adil.

Not possible !
It's always better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it !

this is not possible because the law makers and babus are getting good weapons from customs confiscated stuff, only the common man is suffering, then who cares for the common man in the SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF INDIA.
