Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

i would like to know more about the action.
Is action leading to jams etc a reason it never took off or is it the triangular bullets?

The action of the gun did include a sort of revolving part, although it did not work like the cylinder we all know from our typical revolvers. With each pull of the trigger, it rotated 120 degrees, twisting a cartridge out of the clip and into firing position, while dropping the previous spent case out of a door in the side. Very interesting. But wont the 120 degree spin take more time as compared to current one. 120 degree turn is pretty decent movement.
