It is perfectly legal. There is no limit on magazine capacity.

Yes, goodboy_mentor is right, there is no limit on magazine capacity in India. My father owns a 20 round magazine. I think in USA one can not own a magazine holding more than 10 rounds, maybe xl_target will be able to shed more light on it, but in India it is legal.

Vineet: The national ban has expired and was not renewed, but a couple of the states still have such a limitation.

Hi gorakhurmi,

Welcome to the grey areas...in Indian regulations - there are so many! :( Interesting point you have brought up there!

Many thanks to goodboy_mentor for clarifying - kudos buddy! I have observed that you always come up with input unfailingly, whenever there is a legal issue- I admire your knowledge of legalese, your passion and perseverance - well done, sir!

Learn't another new thing today. :D
